Saratov Medical University will oversee health service and medical education in all districts of the Saratov region

Our region has hosted a unique project: representatives of SSMU named after V. I. Razumovsky, the chief doctors, deans, leading specialists are providing supervisory support to each district of the region.

Supervision is organized according to the medical and educational activities of the districts. So on April 4, the chief doctor of Clinical Hospital No. 1 named after S.R Mirotvortsev Oleg Kasimov, dean of the pediatric faculty Andrey Averyanov and head of the “Medical Classes” program of SSMU Svetlana Savina visited the Tatischevsky District.

The meeting between Head of the Tatischevsky district Pavel Surkov and the chief doctor of the district hospital Marina Berseneva was held during the working visit. A huge range of medical and educational issues were discussed: from establishing interaction of diagnostic and treatment aid for people in this district, to educational and career guidance program of the SSMU “Medical Classes”, employment of graduates of the medical university with the possibility of subsequent privatization of service housing.

Due to the support of SSMU and leading specialists from Clinical Hospital No. 1 named after S.R. Mirotvortsev, high-tech medical care, and the need for additional examination on an ongoing basis: MRI, CT, colonoscopy, PET-CT, histological studies will be available for people from Tatischevsky district. Special attention is also paid to the issue of staffing. The SSMU program “Medical classes” is being actively implemented in the schools of Tatischevsky district. It will open the opportunity for all those who wants to study and return home as a first-rate specialist.

Oleg Kasimov, the chief doctor of Clinical Hospital No. 1 named after S.R Mirotvortsev, was appointed as curator of medical activities of the Tatishchevsky district, the dean of the pediatric faculty Andrey Averyanov was appointed as curator of educational activities.

We are already carrying out extensive work to support healthcare of Saratov region and now the opportunities are expanding.
