Unique robotic knee replacement surgeries will soon become a reality at the Research Institute of Traumatology, Orthopedics and Neurosurgery of the SSMU. Since March 25, specialists of the Institute perform robot assisted knee replacement. These surgical operations are unique to the region.

Saratov experts, together with specialists from Sechenov University, will perform at least 15 operations using the CUVIS-joint robotic system, which is widely known and in demand among the best specialists. Robotic assisted surgery is characterized by exceptional accuracy of surgical planning and implant placement/installation, low injury rate, low risk of complications and ensure the longest and most comfortable use of the endoprosthesis.
