SSMU implements a program to support young doctors

Saratov Medical University is strengthening the regional healthcare system with a mentoring program.
As part of the active cooperation between SSMU and medical institutions in Saratov, the implementation of a program to support young doctors continues. One of the striking examples is the close cooperation of Saratov Medical University with the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery of the Saratov City Clinical Hospital of Emergency Medicine (SGKB SMP).
Simultaneously with the re-equipment of the department, the Department of Dentistry of Surgical and Maxillofacial Surgery of SSMU was relocated to the hospital. Now, under the guidance of specialized specialists and university professors, in particular, the head of the department, Candidate of Medical Sciences Galiya Bakhteeva, young doctors have the opportunity to acquire practical skills by actively engaging in complex operations. This practice significantly improves the qualifications of graduates and accelerates the process of adapting novice doctors to a real professional environment.
Such a partnership creates favorable conditions for the effective implementation of the latest technologies, professional development of medical personnel, improving the availability of high-quality medical care to the population and further strengthening the healthcare system.
