Ukek-2024 Festival

The museum "Russia – My History" hosted the Ukek-2024 festival of archaeology and reconstruction. The 1st year students of the Department of International Education specializing in General Medicine, together with their curator, teacher of the Department of Russian and Latin Languages Galina Moshovskaya visited photo exhibition "Ukek Project: 20 years of searches and discoveries", as well as a reconstruction site where different crafts were presented, including a medical one in a kind of healer's tent.

The students from Tanzania, Kazakhstan and Moldova were mostly impressed by the medieval fights performance. People in chain armors fought skillfully with swords and tilting spear. The museum expert guide conducted the excursion and told much about the features and peculiarities of their battle suit and arms equipment. The students were glad to feel the historical atmosphere and get to know the cultural features of the city better.
